At Scotts Wright, we run a thriving family and matrimonial service, providing expert legal advice on family and relationship issues such as divorce and separation, children, money and property.
Working in your best interests
We are committed to working in your best interests, but in a manner which minimises hostility and conflict.
Members of Resolution
We are members of “Resolution”- the specialist legal association run for and by family lawyers- and are supportive of its commitment to resolving family and relationship difficulties in a non-confrontational and constructive way. (www.resolution.org.uk)
This doesn’t mean that we won’t fight for you- we will always strive to do the best for you and you can rest assured in the knowledge that your case is being dealt with by a team with over 20 years experience in family and matrimonial law.
Members of Forces Law
We are also members of “Forces Law”- a nationwide network of solicitors providing a wide range of legal services to serving personnel, their families and retired service men and women. Having had a presence in Catterick Garrsion since the early 1970’s, we fully understand and have had extensive experience of the particular legal difficulties facing service personnel, be it in relation to pensions on divorce or separation or in respect of the potentially tricky area of moving posting, and taking children with you. Based in Catterick Garrison and Leyburn, North Yorkshire
Our family and matrimonial department is based predominantly at our Catterick office, but we can accommodate meetings in our Leyburn office (or elsewhere) to suit you.
We offer a fixed fee 30-minute diagnostic appointment, and, should you then instruct us to represent you in relation to that particular issue, then that fee can be deducted from your first bill.
Managing Your Costs
We can offer payment by card or by standing order- we know legal fees can be expensive and are committed to helping you manage those fees as much as we can.
Making an Appointment
If you feel that we can help, why not call us on 01748 832431 and arrange an appointment with Allen Bailey, our family and matrimonial solicitor.
